DN iceyacht

All of our sails are of the highest quality, developed and tested by top sailors. They are manufactured with the best components. Battens are custom fabricated, made of carbon- and glass fibre. We always equip the sails with radial reinforcement, windows, insignia, sail number and several tell tales. They are delivered ready for hoisting, with the battens mounted and rolled in our smart designed zipper bag.

 

BI-Z

© NorthOur flat sail for maximum top speed. Its designed with a shape that still has a big range and good acceleration. The best conditions for this sail are when the ice is fast.
Best used when:
- glass and black ice. All wind
- hard ice with little traction, water or little snow coverage. Medium and heavy wind.

SI-X

A sail with more lift and drag than BI-Z. It’s developed for ice with medium traction. Still it has good top speed. Perfect all-round sail.
Best used when:
- soft ice or ice with water or little snow coverage. Light and medium wind
- hard ice with medium snow or water coverage. Medium and heavy wind.

RI-P

This sail is developed and specialized for good height and speed in slow ice conditions. Its our sail with most power.
Best used when:
- hard ice with medium snow coverage. Light wind.
- hard ice with much snow. All wind
- rough ice or very sticky conditions.
- soft spring ice.
